How to Identify Punctuation Questions

Punctuation questions are ones where the main difference between the answer choices is how they are punctuated. Note that we said main difference because there may also be a word or two different between the answer choices.

Apostrophes and Question Marks Are Addressed Separately

While both of these are technically types of punctuation, questions that test on these don't overlap with other types of punctuation questions. That is why we addressed them as their own categories on previous pages.

Nonessential Clauses, Essential Clauses, and Complete Sentences
